Information on Tae Bo® Training Courses

Application:
Applications have to be submitted in writing.
Please write clearly in block letters. You must indicate the name
and the sorting code of your bank and your account number. If you
do not have a bank account, please send a check together with your
application form. Workshops can not be booked for later payment
upon receipt of an invoice.
Travel to the venue:
For data privacy reasons IFAA is
not allowed to send out lists with participants´ addresses.
For longer training courses, we recommend that you find people to
share a car with during the first training block.
Confirmation:
Right after your enrollment you
will receive a letter of confirmation indicating that we have received
your application. This is not an invoice. You will receive the invoice
only about three weeks before the course begins. If you enroll at
short notice, you will be sent the invoice immediately.
Beginning/End of course:
All of the
workshops and training courses start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00
p.m. unless otherwise stated in the letter of confirmation or on
the invoice. Course fees: Workshops and training courses are paid
by standing order ?/direct debit authorization (please remember
to indicate your bank account information) or by check. The course
fee must be credited to the IFAA bank account 14 days before the
course begins, otherwise your participation cannot be guaranteed.

Course materials:
You will receive the course materials
at the beginning of the workshop/training course. These materials
are meant to aid your memory. In any case, you will have to add
information by hand. In training courses ending with a written examination,
the course materials represent the subject-matter of the examination.
Lunch break:
Approximately
1 hour between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. You can either eat in the
restaurant located in the studio (not included in the course fee)
or call the pizza service. In many studios, you are not allowed
to bring your own food.
Examinations:
Who will be admitted to the examinations?
Participants over 18 years of age
Participants who can prove that they have taken part in a
course on the "first-aid measures to be taken at the scene
of an accident or who submit a "First-Aid Certificate
(not older than three years)
Participants who have completed the relevant training
Participants who have submitted additional certificates,
if necessary.
You must apply in writing for participation in the examination (you
will receive the necessary form at the beginning of your training
course). The examinations consist of a practical part (test lesson)
and a written test (partly multiple choice, partly you will be asked
to formulate your own answers). If you do not pass an examination,
you may only repeat it twice. The examinee has to document the parts
of the examination passed (you will receive the necessary form when
registering for the examination). The participant may choose the
venue of the examination. In order to receive the license/diploma
you must submit a written application.
Invoice:
Three weeks before the start of the course
you will receive an invoice containing the following information:
the date when the fee was deducted from your account , the dates
of the course, the course schedule and the venue. Please read this
information carefully. Sometimes the date/time or the venue of the
course will be changed for organizational reasons, and this is how
you will be informed about such changes.
Lodging:
IFAA will recommend hotels near
the corresponding studio.
Course Language:
The course language is German.
Please bring the following items to all training courses/workshops:
Sportswear for each day
and several towels
Large quantities of beverages (can also be purchased in the
studio)
Warmer clothes which you can put on during the theoretical
parts
Paper and pen or pencil to take notes.
